Here is a question an associate of mine recently pondered, and I thought I'd pass it on here. Often, authors have a photo of themselves on the inside flap or on the back cover of the book(s) they've written.
If you were to author a book, would you smile or or not smile for your Author's photograph?
I think it depends on the subject matter. If the book is about something serious, I would select a more scholarly pose. If the book is on a subject that allows me to look like I enjoy writing it, then I'd most likely smile. Anyone else??
